Lee County: This county has several dog-friendly beaches, including Bunche Beach, Lovers Key State Park, and our personal favorite; Bonita Beach Dog Park.
Sarasota County: Sarasota County has several dog-friendly beaches, including Brohard Paw Park & Beach and Venice Beach. At Brohard Paw Park & Beach, your dog can enjoy a fenced-in area for off-leash playtime.
Charlotte County: Stump Pass Beach State Park is a dog-friendly beach in this county. Dogs are allowed on a leash on this beach, so your pup can enjoy the sand and surf while staying safe.
Manatee County: Manatee County has a few dog-friendly beaches, including Palma Sola Causeway Park and Dog Beach Park. Palma Sola Causeway Park has a designated dog beach area where your pup can run off-leash.

This colorful, waterfront eatery boasts a large outdoor patio, complete with live music and pet-friendly seating. The menu features fresh seafood, salads, sandwiches, and wraps.
The Clam Shack – Sanibel Island
This casual seafood spot serves up lobster rolls, fish sandwiches, and fresh oysters. Dogs are welcome on the outdoor patio, which offers a laid-back atmosphere and scenic views of the Sanibel River.
The Lazy Flamingo – Sanibel Island & Fort Myers
Known for its fresh seafood, raw bar, and famous "Grouper Bites", The Lazy Flamingo has multiple pet-friendly locations with outdoor seating on both Sanibel Island and in Fort Myers.

Rover Run Dog Park - This park has a designated dog park area with a separate small dog area, water fountain, and shade.
Gordon River Greenway-  A scenic 2-mile-long path that allows leashed dogs to accompany their owners while exploring the lush mangroves and native plants. 
Golden Gate Community Park- The dog park is located near the southwest corner of the park, and it caters to both small and large dogs.
Naples Dog Park- Approximately 1.35 acres of fenced, lush green landscaping and dog-friendly mulch. The area has two separate areas for large and small dog runs and requires registration.

The Gallery Shops at Vanderbilt - Dogs are allowed in some stores, please call ahead.
Miromar Outlets  - Many stores in this outdoor shopping center allow dogs but always check with each store for their specific policy on allowing dogs, as it may vary.

Bark on the Ark is a delightful monthly event that everyone in the family, including their furry companions, can enjoy. The event starts with an eco-cruise that takes guests and their furry friends along the scenic routes of Naples Bay. ATTEND AN EVENT
Southwest Florida is a hub of dog-friendly events that cater to dog owners looking for engaging and enjoyable activities. The region boasts a wide array of festivals and competitions, perfect for spending quality time with your furry friend. Here are some upcoming events that will keep you and your canine companion entertained and engaged
Bell Tower Yappy Hour- This dog-friendly event will be held the second Friday of each month (weather permitting) from 6PM-8PM on Feb 10, 2023, to Dec 8, 2023, at Bell Tower Shops in Fort Myers, FL, US. Admission is free.
Doggizen Food Fest! - Vendors from the South Florida region will be handing out samples of dog-friendly food items. Snack choices will include insects, raw kibble, baked treats, and more. There will also be human-friendly food and cocktails available for purchase. This event will be held from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM on April 8, 2023, at InterContinental Miami, FL, US.
Woofstock- Dates TBD- usually around May
Pets on Third Parade and PetFest- Dates TBD but usually in Winter
Naples Botanical Gardens-Dog friendly every Tuesday and Sunday of each month from 9AM-11AM
